Freddy started his career at an early age of 15 as a session guitarist in Louisiana at Deep South Recorders. Highly sought after as a season guitarist, he worked for Sea Saint Studios in New Orleans, LA, which was home to such artists as Allen Toussaint, The Meters, Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas and many others. While working at a studio in the country in Bogalusa, LA, he was able to tour and record with Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown. During this time, Freddy was sought out by Island Records to play guitar for Robert Palmer on his first American tour. Relocating to New York, he became Robert’s guitarist and has had the opportunity to tour and record around the world. This lead to many opportunities and offers to work with other very successful artists, labels, management companies, and publishers.

From session work, writing, arranging, engineering, touring and television, Freddy has had a very full and rewarding career.
